The Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care (PICAC) initiative, established in 1997, supports aged care services in meeting the unique needs of older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Through the PICAC program, you can access workshops, training, information sessions, fact sheets, guides, and resources in multiple languages.

PICAC coordinators work to improve the partnership between aged care providers, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care to ensure that aged care service providers are informed on best practice in the delivery of culturally appropriate care.
The PICAC Program provides funding for eight organisations, one in each state and territory.
