Dementia Alliance Darwin

Dementia Alliance Darwin is a local volunteer community-led action group involving people with lived experience of dementia.

They work together to:

  • Promote opportunities for people to participate in lifestyle activities that promote health and wellbeing 
  • Advocate for improved service provision for people with dementia, their families and carers, and community
  • Provide and support information and education activities and events for the general community to make information on dementia widely available.

The forget-me-not flower used by Dementia Alliance Darwin in its logo is a symbol for dementia awareness, symbolising the importance of kindness, support and understanding in helping those affected by dementia.
