Darwin Frocktails

Darwin Frocktails is focused on celebrating the sewing of clothes and encouraging sewing skills in the community. Frocktails is a worldwide movement, celebrating the same aims on all continents for over ten years.

Entertainment at Darwin Frocktails is provided through competitions to recognise, for example, new and experienced sewing skills, innovative use of Indigenous and other fabrics, crafted outfits and upcycling.

Darwin Frocktails also hosts other events/activities including:

• Fabric flower making
• Millinery techniques
• Ladies Day at the Darwin Turf Club
• Royal Darwin Show
