Aged Care Navigator Program Manager – Alice Springs

Janet is a highly experienced health care professional, having started work as a theatre nurse in Scotland before beginning a long career in midwifery. Janet has lived in the Northern Territory since 2003 with time spent in Borolloola, Darwin, Groote Eylandt and Elcho Island before settling in Alice Springs. A keen gardener, Janet also enjoys yoga and the energy of the outback.

Janet joined COTA NT in February 2025. In her role Janet provides:

• Aged care navigator services – access to aged care support to groups and individuals
• Delivery of the Seniors’ Advocate: Advance Personal Planning Project
• Plus supporting seniors to access other COTA NT programs including NT Seniors Card, activities and membership.

Her role also extends to supporting seniors in Alice to access COTA NT’s other programs including Seniors Card, events and activities and membership.
